Dear Sir,
I was very impressed from start to finish. I entered the 1/2 marathon (Half Course). My friend arranged for my entry into the race, although I could have done so myself easily enough since you had entry forms printed in English. The English entry form really assisted in drawing American women into the race. Distribution of the forms at Collier Field House, Yongsan, was a great idea. Perhaps an idea for next year would be to place an advertisement into either the Stars and Stripes or Seoul World newspapers. This would reach an even wider audience and perhaps encourage even more American women to enter...
The race was EXTREMELY well organized. From packet pickup to finishing results, everything went smoothly and was very well thought-out. Some nice "touches" to the race were the changing tent and the baggage check-in. For longer runs, especially with distant parking, these really come in handy. Volunteer support along the way was great. Ample fluid replacement was available for this run. Good idea on handing bags out at the end with refreshments! This ensures that everyone gets sufficient refreshments, regardless of finishing time.
I really liked the fact that you had a motorcycle motorcade leading the way for the race. Sure helped knowing where to go on the course!! Also like the idea of presenting awards as soon as the 1st - 5th finishers' times were confirmed. Results were done immediately...Great job!
I really have nothing negative to say about the race. Sure hope you can draw even more people next year. I will be here another year and plan on participating in next year's race, so if there's anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to ask! Thank you so much for putting on such a great run! See you next year!
Sincerely,
Kelly Dworak
